We both had long weeks this week so we opted for something easy for us.
Conditions were good and there was snow up high, but still not enough for us
to wear boots. Some people were carrying spikes, but no one was wearing
them. There were lots of people out for a Sunday, and on our way down we
ran into a dad hiking with his three kids, so we slowed and hiked with them
for a while. It was a pleasure to see other kids out on the trails and
having a good time and hopefully our paths will cross again.
